FAQ | QUALITY CONTROL
Is it mandatory to do a quality control?
Quality control is not mandatory, but it is strongly recommended to prevent any manufacturing defects. Even if your supplier is reliable, it’s still important to limit the risk of unpleasant surprises on arrival, which could lead to a waste of time and money.
What can you do if your supplier won't let you carry out a quality inspection?
The answer is simple: you should never agree to work with a supplier who does not accept quality control. If the supplier doesn’t accept, it’s because they have something to hide.
What information is required for quality control?
– Supplier name
– Mail & phone number
– Factory address
– Product specifications
– Product quantity
– Choice of inspection type
– Inspection criteria
Is it necessary to carry out a quality control on every order?
It’s a good idea to inspect every order you place. Manufacturing is not an exact science. Even if your supplier is reliable, you can never be sure of a bad surprise: a defective or damaged component, problems with color, size, labeling, scratches, etc.
Your supplier will take more care in manufacturing your goods if he knows that quality control will be carried out at the end of the production.
